MAGNUM Party!

I’m not invited to attend the event but I’m invited to take pictures for the entire invited guest in the event while walking at the red carpet. It was my first time to do it but I’m happy that I became part of the event even though as a beginner photographer. I was able to meet some professional photographers and also beginners like me. Some are students and employed professionals, all are excited for the event and I’m sure that they all enjoyed the night not only seeing some celebrities and known people in our country.

The event started at 7 PM of March 14, 2012 at Whitespace Chino Roces Extension Makati City. I think we need to apologize for does drivers and passengers that cause traffic but I know some are able to understand.

One of the highlights of the event is to meet the MAGNUM ambassadors (Solenn, Raymond, Erwin, Liz, Tessa and Rajo)and also get some free MAGNUM ice cream (Classic, Almond and Chocolate Truffle).

Thanks to Canon Philippines for this chance to feel and became a photographer to one of the star studded event of MAGNUM Party and partnering to Unilever Philippines. I know that all canon DSLR users’ purpose that joined the event is to win for the photo contest and off course that one of my dream.

My photos won in the Magnum Party photo contest and the organizer published the winning photos in major broadsheets in our country, namely Philippine Daily Inquire, Manila Bulletin and Philippine Star. The prize for the winning photos are 36 pcs. of Magnum Ice Cream.
